THE TEMPLARS – RECONQUISTA VOLUME II (LP)

THE TEMPLARS – RECONQUISTA VOLUME II (LP)

Description:

Emerging from the streets of New York in the early 1990s, The Templars deliver their unique blend of gritty Oi! and punk on Reconquista Volume II, a 2020 collection that gathers covers, singles, and rare gems recorded between 1995 and 2001. The sound remains raw and unpolished, with lo-fi production capturing the band’s garage ethos and energetic spirit.

Standout tracks include the snarling cover of “New Breed,” the anthemic defiance of “Modern Day Ripper,” and the surprisingly faithful Rolling Stones cover “The Last Time.” Across the album, chugging guitar riffs, melodic bass undertones, and gritty, barked vocals reflect The Templars’ commitment to old-school street punk fused with melodic hooks.

A great addition for fans of Cock Sparrer, The Business, The 4‑Skins, Sham 69
