The Templars – 1118 ‑ 1312 (LP)

The Templars – 1118 ‑ 1312 (LP)

Description:

The Templars, a Long Island‑based Oi! punk outfit formed in 1991, deliver a gritty and focused six‑track EP with “1118 ‑ 1312,” originally recorded in 1997 and now available for the first time on 12" vinyl. The sound is their signature street‑punk rawness—fierce yet melodic, with vocals drenched in gravel and guitar tones that jangle and crunch in authentic DIY tradition.

Tracks like “D.M.V.” and “Skins & Punks” bring snarling energy and taut three‑chord force, while the title cut opens a thread of dark, historical resonance amid the band’s working‑class bite. The EP balances anthemic choruses and singalong grit with lean arrangements that showcase their knack for hooking riffs without excess.

A great addition for fans of Cock Sparrer, The Business, The 4‑Skins, The Last Resort
