This Is Not A Test is the third full-length from San Diego punk band Swindle, a group that came out of the Southern California hardcore/punk scene in the mid-'90s. The album showcases a more developed version of the band's fast, aggressive punk sound, mixing melodic hooks with the raw energy and urgency of hardcore. Swindle shared the scene with bands ranging from AFI to Youth Brigade and have often been compared to the fast, melodic attack of Kid Dynamite.
