Released in 2007 on Fat Wreck Chords, Virulence is the second full-length from Only Crime, a hardcore supergroup featuring Russ Rankin of Good Riddance, Bill Stevenson of Descendents/ALL/Black Flag, Aaron Dalbec of Bane/Converge, and Zach and Doni Blair of Hagfish. The album combines aggressive punk and hardcore with melody, dissonant guitar work, and rhythmic experimentation.

Recorded at The Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Virulence delivers a tight 12-song blast that balances the melodic hardcore background of its members with a heavier, more complex approach.
