Minor Threat – Out Of Step
Released in 1983 on Dischord Records, “Out Of Step” is one of the most influential releases in hardcore punk history. Expanding beyond the breakneck speed of the band's earlier recordings, Minor Threat incorporated more complex songwriting while maintaining the intensity and conviction that defined the Washington, D.C. hardcore scene. Fronted by Ian MacKaye, the record became a landmark release whose impact can still be heard throughout hardcore, punk, and alternative music today.
