Formed in the early days of the Washington, D.C. hardcore scene from the ashes of State Of Alert (S.O.A.) and The Untouchables, Faith may have been short-lived, but their influence was immense. Blending the speed and intensity of early hardcore with increasingly thoughtful songwriting, the band helped bridge the gap between the first wave of D.C. punk and the emotionally driven Revolution Summer movement. This collection pairs the classic 1982 Subject To Change EP with the band's 1981 demo recordings, documenting the evolution of one of Dischord's most important early bands. Members would later go on to form Rites Of Spring and Embrace.
