Fishbone - Fishbone (CD)

Description:
Fishbone - Fishbone is the band’s self-titled 1985 debut EP, introducing the Los Angeles group’s distinctive blend of ska, punk, funk, rock, and soul. The release helped establish the energetic, genre-crossing sound that would become Fishbone’s trademark throughout the late 1980s and beyond.

The six-track release includes early Fishbone favorites such as “Ugly,” “Another Generation,” “? (Modern Industry),” “Party at Ground Zero,” and “Lyin’ Ass Bitch.” Produced by David Kahne, the EP captures the band at the beginning of its recording career with horn-driven arrangements, fast rhythmic shifts, and a mix of punk intensity and funk grooves.

A great addition for fans of ska punk, funk rock, alternative rock, and Fishbone’s early material.

Condition: VG+ used CD.
