The record finds the band expanding beyond the straight-ahead attack of their earlier material, incorporating heavier riffs, more developed song structures, and melodic elements while maintaining the urgency and intensity of their hardcore roots. Recorded at Trax East in South River, New Jersey, the album was produced by Eric Rachel and Nate Gluck.
