Released in 2005 on Columbia Records, Phantoms is the debut full-length album from Seattle alternative rock band Acceptance. Produced by Aaron Sprinkle, the record combines polished alternative rock, emo, and pop-punk with soaring vocals and huge melodic hooks. Songs like “Take Cover,” “So Contagious,” “Different,” and “Permanent” helped the album develop a lasting following and made Phantoms a standout of the mid-2000s alternative scene.
