PENNYWISE - About Time (CD) Used

PENNYWISE - About Time (CD)

Description:

Pennywise's third studio album, released on June 13, 1995, captures the peak of their Southern California melodic hardcore sound. Coming off the momentum of *Unknown Road*, the band tightened its chemistry, delivering fast, aggressive, and anthemic punk with a noticeably more mature edge and polished production. The tone is urgent and brooding, yet remains rooted in defiant positivity.

The album features standout tracks like “Peaceful Day”, which opens with soaring guitar and Lindberg’s impassioned vocals, as well as “Perfect People” and “Same Old Story”, both rallying against conformity with catchy hooks and lyrical depth. “Freebase” brings a darker narrative, confronting addiction with raw emotion and unsettling honesty. Musically, the album blends high-speed hardcore energy with memorable melodies and nuanced songwriting.

A great addition for fans of Bad Religion, Descendents, Rancid, The Bouncing Souls
