Operation Ivy - Hectic E.P. (Cassette)

Description:

Operation Ivy - Hectic E.P. is the legendary East Bay ska-punk band’s debut EP, originally released in 1988. The record captures the raw, energetic sound that made Operation Ivy one of the most influential bands to emerge from the Gilman Street punk scene.

The EP blends fast punk rock with ska rhythms and socially conscious lyrics, featuring early classics such as “Hoboken,” “Yellin’ in My Ear,” “Sleep Long,” and “Healthy Body.” Its mix of urgency, melody, and ska-punk energy helped lay the groundwork for countless bands that followed.

A must-have for fans of classic ska punk, East Bay punk, and the roots of the Lookout! Records sound.
