Maximum Rocknroll collects 21 tracks from NOFX’s early Mystic Records recording sessions, capturing the band during their rawest formative years. The collection pulls together material from their first two EPs along with compilation appearances and bonus tracks, offering a look at the fast, rough-edged hardcore punk sound that preceded the more melodic style NOFX would become known for.

Now available again on cassette, the collection includes early favorites like “Live Your Life,” “Six Pack Girls,” “Cops And Donuts,” “Lager In The Dark,” and “Ant Attack.” It’s a great piece of early NOFX history and a snapshot of the Southern California punk underground that helped shape the band.
