Released in 2002, Johnny Socko is the self-titled studio album from the long-running Indiana band. By this point, Johnny Socko had expanded beyond their third-wave ska roots into a broader rock sound while retaining the horns, funk, punk, and offbeat humor that had always been part of their identity.

The album mixes new material with updated versions of earlier Johnny Socko favorites, including “Bitch Stole My Hat,” “Full Trucker Effect,” “Save Yourself,” and “Old School Master.” It also includes their take on the Charlie Daniels Band classic “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.”
