Ignite – Call on My Brothers (CD)

IGNITE– CALL ON MY BROTHERS (CD)

Description:

Ignite emerged from Orange County’s hardcore scene in the mid‑1990s with a ferocious, melodic sound Call On My Brothers, originally self‑released via Conversion Records in 1995 and remastered and expanded by Revelation Records in 2000, captures the band at its fiercest and most urgent. The album blends tight, aggressive riffs with soaring vocals courtesy of Zoli Teglas, showcasing early melodic hardcore in its raw, heartfelt form.

Standout tracks include the blistering opener “Ash Return,” the concise fury of “In My Time,” and the punchy anthem “Should Have Known,” all of which exemplify Ignite’s dynamic energy and melodic hooks. The title track “Call On My Brothers” and “Sided” also deliver relentless momentum, while the recording overall is noted for its exceptional tightness and furious execution.

A great addition for fans of Minor Threat, Agnostic Front, Sick of It All, Madball, Gorilla Biscuits, Terror
