H2O – Use Your Voice (CD)

H2O – Use Your Voice (CD)

Description:

H2O’s *Use Your Voice* arrived on October 9, 2015, via Bridge Nine Records as the veteran New York hardcore band’s first album of new original material in seven years. It brings their signature melodic hardcore sound short, furious blasts driven by energetic riffs and positive urgency reigniting the blend of skate-punk bounce and hardcore intensity that they’ve long embodied. The album clocks in just over 22 minutes, delivering its message with lean, punchy execution that leaves no room for filler.

Standout tracks include “Black Sheep,” which fires off with unapologetic bite, and the title-track “Use Your Voice,” a rapid, gang-vocal anthem urging empowerment through frank lyricism. “#NotRealLife” delivers sharp commentary on social media culture, all wrapped in sing-along choruses and melodic hooks. The album’s production, courtesy of Chad Gilbert, keeps the aesthetic raw yet clean, accentuating the urgency and heartfelt tone of Toby Morse’s vocals and the band’s dynamic rhythms.

A great addition for fans of melodic hardcore and skate-punk.

Condition: New CD.
