Originally released as a 7-inch EP in 1981, Welcome To Reality captures the Adolescents expanding beyond the melodic Southern California hardcore sound that made their debut album a classic. Featuring a darker, more aggressive edge, the EP showcases the band's continued evolution while retaining the speed, hooks, and youthful energy that defined early Orange County punk. This expanded 10-inch edition adds the long-lost recording of "Richard Hung Himself," a track originally intended for the EP but left unfinished until it was finally mixed years later for The Complete Demos. Pressed on colored vinyl, this reissue faithfully recreates the original artwork in a larger 10-inch format.
