Dropkick Murphys – 11 Short Stories Of Pain & Glory – New Vinyl LP

Released in 2017, 11 Short Stories of Pain & Glory is Dropkick Murphys’ ninth studio album. The record blends the band’s trademark Celtic punk, working-class storytelling, folk instrumentation, and huge sing-along choruses with songs that range from rowdy anthems to more reflective material. It was recorded in El Paso, Texas and produced by Ted Hutt.

Highlights include “Blood,” “Paying My Way,” “Rebels With a Cause,” and “Until the Next Time.” The album also includes the band’s version of “You’ll Never Walk Alone” and the emotional “4-15-13,” written in remembrance of the Boston Marathon bombing.
