Released in 2022, Careening is the debut full-length album from Washington, D.C. supergroup Hammered Hulls. Featuring members of Fugazi, The Faith, and No Man, the album blends the urgency of classic D.C. hardcore with sharp songwriting, dynamic rhythms, and decades of musical experience. Produced by Ian MacKaye and engineered by Don Zientara, Careening also holds the distinction of being one of the final albums recorded and mixed at the legendary Inner Ear Studio, making it a fitting tribute to the studio that helped shape the sound of the Washington, D.C. punk scene.
