Danzig - Danzig (CD)

Description:

Danzig - Danzig is the self-titled 1988 debut album from Glenn Danzig’s post-Misfits and Samhain project, blending heavy metal, hard rock, blues, and gothic atmosphere into a dark, muscular sound. Produced by Rick Rubin, the album established Danzig as a distinct force outside of punk while retaining the ominous mood and powerful vocal style associated with Glenn Danzig’s earlier work.

The album features standout tracks such as “Twist of Cain,” “Not of This World,” “She Rides,” “Am I Demon,” and “Mother.” With heavy riffs, stripped-down production, and Glenn Danzig’s commanding vocals, the record remains one of the defining albums of late-1980s dark hard rock and metal.

A must-have for fans of heavy metal, gothic hard rock, horror-influenced music, and Glenn Danzig’s classic catalog.
