Champion - Time Slips Away (CD)

Champion - Time Slips Away is a collection of early material from the influential Seattle straight edge hardcore band, compiling songs from the Count Our Numbers and Come Out Swinging EPs. The release captures Champion’s fast, melodic approach to hardcore before the band’s full-length Promises Kept.

Built around urgent guitars, driving rhythms, and direct vocals, Time Slips Away includes key early Champion tracks such as “The Decline,” “Fourth of July,” “Monument,” “Harrison and Broadway,” and “Assume the Worst.” The collection is firmly rooted in early-2000s straight edge and youth crew-inspired hardcore.

A solid addition for fans of Bridge Nine Records, straight edge hardcore, youth crew, and melodic hardcore.
