Bad Brains - Rock For Light (LP)

Description:
Bad Brains - Rock For Light is the legendary Washington, D.C. hardcore band’s second full-length album, originally released in 1983. Produced by Ric Ocasek of The Cars, the record captures Bad Brains at a crucial point in their career, combining blistering hardcore punk with reggae and dub influences.

This LP features the original mix of the album, restored and remastered by Dave Gardner at Infrasonic Mastering. The original mix differs from the better-known 1991 version, which used a different track sequence, altered mixes, and a faster master.

Featuring classics such as “Coptic Times,” “Attitude,” “Sailin’ On,” “Right Brigade,” “Banned In D.C.,” “Big Takeover,” and the title track “Rock For Light,” this is an essential release from one of the most influential bands in American hardcore.
