Street Dogs - State Of Grace (LP)

ARTIST: Street Dogs - State Of Grace (LP)

Description:

Street Dogs, formed in Boston by ex-Dropkick Murphys frontman Mike McColgan, delivers their fourth studio LP, originally released in 2008 on Hellcat Records. This reissued vinyl LP captures the band’s gritty street punk energy infused with Celtic and folk touches, offering a tougher, more polished sound than their earlier work.

The album opens with “Mean Fist,” a fierce, high-energy anthem, and includes heartfelt tributes such as “Kevin J. O’Toole,” honoring McColgan’s late uncle. The band ventures into varied sonic territory with tracks like the Skids cover “Into The Valley,” the Celtic-accented “Elizabeth,” and the Spanish‑tinged “San Patricios,” all underscoring their evolving musical palette.

A great addition for fans of Dropkick Murphys, The Briggs, Flogging Molly, and The Business
